The Great San Francisco Taco Tour

After another long night of work, I decided to follow the cloying, cliche words of Nikki Minaj, "everybody dies but not everybody lives," and pick up my bootstraps and trek over to the mission for my long awaited taco tour of the mission. San Francisco's mission district is somewhat of a sordid affair where trust-fund hipster kids are tempted to live out their liberal fantasies living near the grit of working class families and el Salvadorian gangsters. Since the Mission Yuppie Eradication Project couldn't prevent gringos with mustaches and girlfriend jeans from gentrifying their hood, I started out away from the epicenter at the corner of 24th and Potrero and worked my way back.

There is only one premise to this taco tour. Start at 24th and Potrero and dive into any taqueria along the way. Now you might read through this list and have your gripes that I missed your favorite taco joint or unfairly criticized your core values and threatened your trembling self-esteem, but I invite you to go on your own taco tour and learn that eating your way through a neighborhood staple might just connect you with the living soul of the people. Then again, maybe not.

So lets get started with this tour. First Stop!
